Today I teamed up with Shopstyle and Dress for Success to be a part of the Dress for Success campaign. This campaign is about empowering women to thrive in work and life. I had to share a story featuring my “power outfit” and share my personal thoughts through a “style tip” on how to feel confident.  For me is about loving yourself and truly liking what you’re wearing. Confidence comes from within, not from the outside and I honestly feel most confident when I’m wearing things I love. Its important to ignore any type of judgement we think we might get. If anything, I want to attract people that appreciate personal style and creative expression. Being creative with your clothes is all that matters for me to feel confident and thats why I went for this look. Its a very typical look of mine because of the silhouette and defines my personal style a lot. Matching a biker with a mini skirt and tights always work for me. I was wearing one of my favorite suede jackets by The Perfext which has the most perfect shade of green and fitted shape, I normally go for shorter jackets to define the waist. If you’re looking for a similar but more affordable version you can find some suede biker jackets I linked below (I wouldn’t mind getting for myself either tho). Hoy me uní con ShopStyle y Dress for Success para ser parte de su campaña que trata de dar fuerza a las mujeres en la vida y el trabajo. Tuve que compartir un post con un look que me hace sentir confiada y compartir mi punto de vista personal sobre sentirme segura a traves de mi estilo. Creo que primeramente se trata de amarte a ti mismo y usar lo que realmente te gusta. La confianza viene de adentro, no del exterior y sinceramente me siento mas segura cuando estoy usando cosas que me gustan. Siempre me mentalizo a ignorar cualquier tipo de prejuicio que creo recibir (ya que siempre todo esta en nuestra cabeza). En todo caso si me preocuparan los demas, solo quiero atraer a las personas que aprecian el estilo personal y la expresión creativa y no a aquellos que se dejan llevar por lo que esta de moda o no. Escogi este look ya que tiene una silueta que siempre queda bien para mi gusto y forma de cuerpo. Aparte, define mucho mi estilo por la casaca biker de siempre, el sombrero y los accesorios que creo que me pongo tooodos los dias (sobretodo los lentes). La casaca de gamuza de The Perfext que es una de mis favoritas me ha servido mucho en otoño por que el color va con todo y el corte es ideal. Siempre me han gustado las casacas cortas por que definen la cintura. Si buscan una parecida definitivamente pueden encontrar unas a precios mas accesibles que he linkeado abajo. En fin, cuentenme cual es el tipo de outfit que les da confianza, o con que tipo de prendas se sienten mas comodas, me encantaria saber!
