EN NOIR – NYFW

If you follow me on instagram you might already know I partnered up with RUSK, one of my favorite hair care brands for Fashion Week. Here’s part one of my super fun experience.

I was invited to take a peek backstage EN NOIR and later attend their show which was absolutely incredible. I loved seeing how they did the hair for the show and also being able to sit a couple of minutes to get my hair retouched. It was inspiring to see everything behind the curtains…from the moment models arrived to the moment they had to rush to the runway. Atmosphere was crazy and hectic the whole time, but oh so amusing.
As for the show.. Rob Garcia, the designer did such an amazing job. I feel his designs literally read my mind style-wise. The collection was all about a sporty but dark aesthetic. Burgundy, black, white and gray (my favorite colors) were all over the runway and the textures used made me want to get every single piece for myself. That distressed grey tee and red biker jacket are next on my wishlist, for sure. Couldn’t thank RUSK enough for this lovely experience!

La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con RUSK para Fashion week. Esta es la primera parte de mi experiencia en la que fui invitada al backstage de EN NOIR y luego al show que estuvo realmente bello. Me encanto ver como hicieron el pelo detras de la pasarela y tambien me retocaron el pelo a mi… fue inspirador ver tood detras de las cortinas, desde el momento que las modelos llegaron al momento que tenian que correr a desfilar. El ambiente era una locura y fue tan interesante ver como todo estaba bien organizado al mismo tiempo.
El show basicamente me fascino… La coleccion transmitia una vibra deportiva con una onda bien oscura. Rob Garcia, el diseñador basicamente me leyo la mente en terminos de estilo. La paleta de colores perfecta: negro, blanco, gris y guinda ( mis colores favoritos). Y ni que decir de las texturas…necesito esa chaqueta de cuero y t-shirt gris rasgado por favor.
