Burgundy Love

Its that time… the cold season we all tend to have a hate/love relationship with. Love because being cozy at home with a hot coffee (or chocolate for some of you), binge watching Netflix seems like the best plan. But hate when it gets to a point its so cold you can’t even think of what to wear! Personally, I feel it’s so hard not to fall in the same monotone black outfit.  With lack of inspirationI normally struggle because most of my coats are black so I get the need to add some color to the rest of the outfit. So this coat from T.Tahari literally came to save me. Never thought I would score a coat in my favorite shade of burgundy with the right fit, shape and the color (although it also comes in black). The shawl and wrap closure is strategically on point, aka. you can wear a million of layers under and still have some room. Basically its like wearing a blanket that actually looks amazing.

Es esa epoca con la que todos solemos tener una relacion de amor y odio. Me gusta el inverno por que quien no ama estar en casa con un cafe caliente (o chocolate caliente para algunos) y andar tapado en mil mantas viendo netflix sin parar… pero por otro lado llega un punto que hace tanto frio que no puedo ni pensar que usar! se me va la inspiracion y es dificil no caer en el look monotono negro, sobretodo por que todos mis abrigos son negro. Finalmente encontre el abrigo perfecto para cuando quiero romper con esta rutina y no preocuparme si llevo un outfit totalmente negro debajo. Tiene el color perfecto (mi favorito es el guinda) y la forma ideal para cuando hace demasiado frio y quieres usar mil capas abajo por que se cierra con una correa que amarras a la altura que quieres 🙂

Otras prendas esenciales de Neiman Marcus que pueden hacer que un look negro sea mas interesante son una chalina con print, un abrigo verde militar o hasta unas botas de color arriba de la rodilla. Abajo les he dejado mas cosas que me parecen perfectas para el invierno.
