Last Sunday was a crazy one. I had the pleasure of partnering up with TRESemmé during the VMAS to do my hair inspired by some of the performers. And you guys know I’m a sucker for hairstyles.

The view was lovely so I had to take a picture.

Amanda did the make up and man she was good at it, I tried to get all the advice possible.

The first hairstyle was inspired by Charlie Xcx. I loved the curls (basically used mousse and then the classic TRES Two Extra Hold hairspray) and the retro vibe of the hair and make up together.
 To be honest I’ve never had my lips in such a bright red shade and my hair so perfectly groomed. It makes me want to get some old magazines and inspiration from the 40s.


The second hair was a braided faux hawk inspired by Kiesza. It’s by far the craziest hair do I’ve had in my life and I felt so cool. Like an edgy version of my typical high bun with a load of hairspray. You can actually check their little step by step guide here to recreate it at home.

 And finally I got a little swirl on the top part of my hair inspired by Gwen Stefani. I had some fuchsia lipstick and white eyeshadow for the first time ever as well. It was fun to recreate these looks, hope you guys enjoyed them. You can check their Facebook to know more about the steps!
